Alexander
Seton, 1st Earl of Huntly, had a son, likewise named
Alexander, by his second marriage, about 18th
January, 1426, with Lydia, daughter and heiress of
Sir John Hay of Tullibody, in the County of
Clackmannan. Alexander Seton suceeded to his
mother's estate and was the 1st Seton of Touch.
The Seton's of Touch were Baron's of Touch and
Tullibody, and were Hereditary Armour Bearers to the
King in Scotland from 1488 until 1920.
