The son of the 1^st Seier de Seton, de Lens, is known as Dougall, though his christian name was Walter.  He married Janet, daughter of Robert de Quincy and had a son called Seher (also called Dougall).  Seher de Seton was succeeded by his son Philip de Seton who made a strong alliance by marrying Helen, only daughter of Waltheof, 5th Earl of Dunbar and March.  Alexander de Setoun succeeded his father Philip, and married the daughter of the Chamberlain to the King.
