The Interior of Winton House

The Interior Photos of Winton House, showing the original plaster ceilings, furnishings and barrel-vaulted ground floor from the original Winton Castle, which is one of the few remaining fragments left from George, 4th Lord Seton's work.  Winton has always been furnished in fitting style having been the personal home of the Head of the Seton Family for generations.  It was visited frequently by King Charles I, who was raised in his youth largely by the 1st Earl of Winton's brother, Alexander Seton, 1st Earl of Dunfermline and Chancellor of Scotland, who educated the future King at Seton Palace and Pinkie House.
