Home of Sir Alexander Seton, Laird of Culcreuch and Gargunnock, 2nd son of James Seton, 5th Laird of Touch and Tullibody from his second wife Jean Edmonstone of Ednam. Sir Alexander was the noted Lord of Session, Lord Kilcreuch. His eldest son's line became Baronets of Abercorn who's line later married the eldest daughter of the Hay's of Drumelzier, lineal representative's of Sir Alexander Seton, Viscount Kingston, and through this line and marriage Sir Iain Bruce Seton, Baronet of Abercorn, became Head of the House and Name of Seton by lineal bloodright.
